flickeep helps you look back at your photos and decide, one at a time, what to keep. This policy explains what the app does with your information. In short: flickeep does not collect, upload or sell anything about you or your photos.

What flickeep does not do

• It does not upload your photos, videos or library anywhere.
• It has no accounts, no sign-in and no server of its own.
• It contains no advertising, analytics or tracking code, and does not track you across other apps or websites.
• It does not sell or share any data, because it does not collect any.

Your photo library

With your permission, flickeep reads your library through Apple Photos on your iPhone so it can show your photos and videos. You can allow all of them or only the ones you choose, and change this at any time in Settings › Privacy & Security › Photos. If you use iCloud Photos, Apple may download originals or previews from your existing iCloud library; flickeep follows the download setting you choose in the app.

Nothing is deleted when you swipe. Photos you let go wait in flickeep’s Trash until you review them and confirm, and then Apple Photos asks once more. Deleted items stay in Photos › Recently Deleted for about 30 days.

Places and maps

When you turn a photo over, or choose a place on the Calendar map, flickeep asks Apple’s map service for the name of the place where the photo was taken. Only the photo’s location is sent, never the photo. Place names are kept in memory and are not saved. The Calendar map is drawn by Apple Maps, which loads map tiles for the areas shown. Apple’s handling of these requests is described in Apple’s privacy policy.

Sharing

“Share as a print” makes an image on your iPhone. It leaves your iPhone only when you choose where to send it in the share sheet. The place is written as a town, never as coordinates, and you can leave it out.

Your progress and preferences

Your sorting progress, Trash list, preferences and how much of the free trial you have used are kept on your iPhone, never sent to flickeep. Preferences may be included in your iPhone’s own backup; sorting progress is excluded from it. Deleting the app deletes them; it does not delete your photos.

Purchases

flickeep Pro is bought through the App Store. Apple handles payment; flickeep never sees your payment details. The app asks the App Store only whether Pro is active on your Apple Account, and when a subscription renews. Manage or cancel subscriptions in Settings › your name › Subscriptions.

Children

flickeep does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
